Ars Innovate Technology and Consulting ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data when you visit www.arsinnovate.com or interact with our services. This policy reflects our commitments under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
When you submit our contact form or otherwise communicate with us by email, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, organization name (if provided), the type of inquiry you select, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and follow up on the conversation you initiated.
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This may include IP address (anonymized), browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and referring URL. Analytics cookies do not load until you accept them. If you decline, no analytics tracking takes place. You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link below.
We use the information we collect only to: respond to your inquiries; deliver services you have requested; send communications you have specifically opted into; understand and improve our website (with your consent for analytics); and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing purposes.
Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Contact form submissions are processed through Google Apps Script and stored in a private Google Sheet that only Ars Innovate accesses. Email notifications of form submissions are delivered through Google Workspace. Optional analytics, when consented to, are provided by Google Analytics 4. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review them.
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of business communications. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Analytics data, when collected, is retained according to Google Analytics’ default retention period (currently 14 months) and is held in aggregate.
We use only two categories of cookies on this site:
Strictly necessary: a small browser-storage entry that records your cookie consent choice so we don’t ask you again on every page. This is required for the site to function correctly and is not used for tracking.
Analytics (optional, requires your consent): Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. These cookies are not set unless you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie Preferences” below; doing so will stop further analytics tracking.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the following lawful bases: consent (for analytics cookies), legitimate interest (responding to inquiries you initiate, improving our website), and compliance with legal obligation (where applicable). You may withdraw consent for analytics at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
— Access the personal information we hold about you
— Correct inaccurate information
— Request deletion of your personal information
— Restrict or object to processing
— Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
— Withdraw consent for analytics tracking at any time
— (California residents) Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — though we do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email jmcclure@arsinnovate.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use reputable third-party services (Google Workspace, Google Apps Script, GitHub Pages) that implement industry-standard security controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent to jmcclure@arsinnovate.com or via our Contact page.
